During a Ritual of Acceptance on October 8 in St. Catherine Chapel, four women were welcomed as Adrian Dominican Associates: Anne Gritzmaker, Margarita Jimenez, Karen Malmsten and Lori McKay.

Anne has lived in Adrian for the past 50 years where she and her husband, Delbert, raised three children. They now have 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Anne is well known by the sisters at the Dominican Life Center. She has worked there for many years as a nursing assistant and as the person who began the foot clinic for the resident sisters. Lori was drawn to the Adrian Dominicans after seeing a billboard in the Detroit area that was part of the Congregation's marketing campaign.
